Engineering/Programming:

Advanced techniques for processing your parts are used at O-A Inc. Our system implements the use of Computer Aided Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting, and Computer Aided Machining. All of our CAE/CAD/CAM is done with Unigraphics V18.0 and Applicon's Bravo Draft Version 7.51. Full three dimensional modeling in wire frame and 3-D solid graphics can be achieved with Unigraphics Solid Modeler and Bravo Modeler. Complex geometries to be machined can be produced using IGES translations, CAD files or directly from paper prints. Our Computer Aided Machining is a fully integrated mill, drill, turn, 4-axis code generating system that drives 21 CNC machines with 14 different controls. An advanced DNC system is used, which sends programs directly to the machine controls and stores both up-to-date and archived programs on our NT server. Our Engineering system generates complete documentation of the part process with plotting up to D-size (22" x 34") drawings.
